About
…
My approach to photography is primarily explorative with a detailed look for narratives. When working I operate on an intuitive level, and my childish curiosity is essentially what drives my practice and the body of work.
It fascinates me, how photography in its’ pure form is based on such a fundamental thing as our way of seeing. At the same time photography also plays with our notion of time and place. My fascination with this, is reflected in my subject matters, which often circle around the sensuous perception, changeability and the story of places.
Through various experimental printing methods and the photo-book as a format, I nurture and play with the possibility of letting the photographic tale be re-created in a new tactile reality.
I photograph to be able to see and understand – and to make others see and understand.
